Our Background
Good Law Limited was formerly known as Gault Bevan Law. With the death of David Gault and the retirement of Bill Bevan in 2021, it seemed timely to change our name.
Our Approach
At Good Law Limited, we specialize in bringing the law to your corner. We are dedicated to listening to you to understand what results you want and to advise you on what actions we can take on your behalf. We will work with you every step of the way to make sure that you understand the choices you are making and feel empowered to make them.

Anna Gillon
MANAGING LAWYER | LLB BA LLM
Anna has been a lawyer since 1994 - graduating from Victoria University. Anna obtained her Master of Laws (Applied Law) majoring in Wills, Estates and Trusts in 2021.
Anna has had a wide range of experience since 1994 from working at the Whitireia Community Law Centre in Porirua to giving litigation advice to the Financial Services Authority in London, UK. But the bottom line for Anna is helping. Often people will come to a lawyer at a hard or stressful time in their life and it is important that good advice is given in a supportive way. Anna is aware that the law impacts us all at some stage - buying and selling houses, making a will, helping family members, or dealing with a relationship break-up. Anna wants Good Law Limited to be able to give timely, cost-effective advice when-ever it is needed.
Anna is proud to be raising her 5 children in Porirua - enjoying the local environment and being a part of a great community.

Lawrence Moala
LAWYER | LLB
Admitted to the Bar as a Barrister and Solicitor in 1998, Lawrence has a wealth of experience. He specialises in Family Law and will give you excellent advice and representation when you need it. Lawrence is a thorough and passionate advocate. He takes care to ensure your voice is heard in a sometimes perplexing legal system.
Brought up in the Porirua area, Lawrence is in touch with what other social agencies might be useful to his clients and makes referrals accordingly.

Janine Merritt

Janine graduated as a Legal Executive in 2011. She is a member of the New Zealand Institute of Legal Executives and was admitted as a Fellow of the Institute in July 2021.
Being a Fellow, Janine has the added ability to take statutory declarations for clients.
Janine has significant experience in a wide range of areas including residential conveyancing, commercial transactions, wills, estates, powers of attorney, trust and subdivisions.
With Janine, you are in a safe pair of hands.

Gloria Frans

Gloria has recently completed her Legal Executive qualification whilst working full time.
Gloria has worked as a Legal Assistant in a few small legal firms where she has gained experience in many different areas such as client administration, wills, estates, powers of attorney and residential conveyancing.
Gloria’s role is to ensure that your transaction proceeds smoothly and stress-free.
